Golf

Golf is a teams competition conducted as part of the individual competition offering both men's and women's competitions. A minimum of one (1) player is required with a maximum number of seven (7) players in a squad.

Golf is not a qualification sport at the Australian University Games and as such teams do not need to qualify at their regional university games event.

    Competition Format

    The competition format will be four days (72 holes). All seven players can compete in the stroke play competition.

    2017 Competition timetable*:

    • Monday 25 September - 7:15am - 1:00pm
    • Tuesday 26 September - 7:15am - 1:00pm
    • Thursday 28 September - 7:15am - 1:00pm
    • Friday 29 September - 7:15am - 1:00pm

    *timetable is subject to change.

    Please be at the venue by 7:00am ready for a 7:15am shotgun start.

    Duties & Uniform

    Australian University Sport (AUS) conducts its competitions under the official playing rules and regulations implemented by the national sporting organisation for that sport. However, AUS events are unique and hence there are often variations that are implemented.

    Uniform and duty requirements are addressed in the relevent sport rules.
